The Life of Daniel

Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm the adults will study the Old Testament hero, Daniel, and how he lived on mission with God, despite being an exile in a foreign land. The Bible says some extraordinary things about him, and his influence has reverberated throughout history.  

Summer Apologetics School – Sunday Evenings at 6:00 pm

Sunday evening, we begin our Summer Apologetics School at 6:00 pm! We noticed while studying Paul in the Book of Acts that he was often found reasoning and persuading people to consider the claims of Christ. How can we prepare to answer the honest questions which friends, family, and co-workers sometimes wonder about? Our first study will be ‘Is there Absolute Truth? Absolutely!’

The apostle Peter writes his second/final letter as an important reminder for believers to keep growing in our relationship with Jesus. Celebrating Adoption

This Sunday morning, we are celebrating Adoption! Pastor Randall has a wonderful message from Ephesians for this very special occasion.  After the Morning Worship Service, everyone is invited to join us for a “Pot-Luck” Lunch as we celebrate what the Lord has done for the Evans family!  If attending, please bring entrees, sides, salads, and desserts to share.  We will also have a “Blessing Table” for cards and gifts.  

You Were Shaped for Serving God – Wednesday Night Series

‘You Were Shaped for Serving God’, begins Wednesday, May 10th!  Nothing is more fulfilling than using your God-given gifts to serve and help meet the needs of others in God’s family. This study, from Rick Warren’s The Purpose Driven Life series, will encourage you to discover your unique S.H.A.P.E. for serving and empower you to do so.

Annual Midway Missions Bake Sale

We will be selling baked goods and cobblers at the Columbus Fourth of July Gospel Singing. We will participate Friday evening, June 30th, and Saturday evening, July 1st, in Veterans Park, and then Monday, July 3rd, (11 am until 8 pm) inside the Columbus Fire Department. VBS 2023 – Twists & Turns

This year’s VBS theme is “Twists and Turns” based on Psalm 25:4. “Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths.” Monday, June 19 –Thursday, June 22 Nightly 6 pm – 8:45 pm All Children Ages 4 (if potty trained) through 8th Grade Youth are invited to four nights of fun!   Children & Youth will be served dinner.   To pre-register your child, click on link below: VBS Registration Form

Graduate Recognition Sunday

Graduate Recognition Sunday – June 11 If you are graduating from High School, Technical School, or College we would like to recognize your achievement during the morning worship service.  Please complete a Graduate Information Form.  The forms are located at both entrances into the Sanctuary and on the Youth Bulletin Board.  You may also call the church office. “Questioning God’s Inactivity” – Sunday Morning Series

Pastor Randall begins a new sermon series Questioning God’s Inactivity!  The prophet Habakkuk ministered in a time of evil apostasy around 600 BC. His name means embracer or wrestler. He did wrestle with God, and questioned God’s apparent lack of activity to right the wrongs of his day. He received surprising answers from God. The Churches of the Apostle Paul Sunday Evening Series – 6:00 pm We will study the churches Paul started or impacted in the Book of Acts. We will begin in Antioch in Acts 11. What can we learn from these churches to help us be the church God intends us to be in 2023 and beyond?
