Baptist Children’s Homes of NC Food Roundup April is the Annual Food Roundup for the Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina. Being part of the Food Roundup is about helping provide physical nourishment for children as well as shining the light of Jesus.  Midway’s goal of $7,000 represents the overall BCH goal of raising funding for 700,000 meals. Women’s Ministry Craft Day – Prayer Journal Saturday, April 27th, FLC – 10:00 am – Noon Ladies and girls join us for a time of crafting, designing, fun, food and fellowship! The wonderful ladies from Bloom with Grace Events will be here!   Disaster Relief Basic Basic Training Florence Baptist Church  – Forest City – Saturday, April 20th – 8:30 am – 4:00 pm Who may participate: Anyone 18+ for all ministries. Exception: To participate in Disaster Recovery and Feeding training, youth must be In the 6th grade or older. A parent must attend the same class at training. Lunch on Saturday is provided. Annie Armstrong Easter Offering Our goal is $8,700.  This represents $3 for each of the 2900 missionary families serving North America.  We will be tracking this goal with small wooden crosses filling a vase.  We encourage giving throughout the month of March. Good Friday Worship & Communion Service Friday, March 29th at 7:00 pm

Palm Sunday – March 24, 2024 Children’s Choir will sing along with the Adult Choir on Sunday Morning during the 11:00 am Worship Service. 6:00 pm Service – A Puppet Show and the Children’s Choir will sing.  Pastor Randall will have a message.

NC Baptists on Mission Construction Skills Training Saturday, March 9th –  Shelby Mission Camp Registration is required and there is a $10 fee to register, which will cover your lunch and training.  This training is for youth, women, and men to learn valuable construction skills that can be used to help in Disaster Relief assignments or other ministry opportunities.  You can register at baptistsonmission.org.  If you have questions, please see Xan Morse.  

Women’s Ministry Loom Knitting Class Saturday, February 24th at 10:00 am – FLC Come out and enjoy time together with other ladies of Midway and learn how to make a hat or scarf!  All supplies will be provided. Offering monthly trips for fellowship and fun with like-minded Christians.  Trips will include concerts, parks, gardens, picnics, scenic rides, restaurants, etc. Upcoming Trip: Tuesday, February 20th, 9:30 am~3 pm.  By popular request, we will go consignment shopping! To get in at the charming The Book & the Bee Café, we’ll need to eat around 11 am. Youth Winter Retreat 2024 February 16th – 18th Midway Youth $50 non-refundable deposit due Oct 31st Friends are welcome, but must pay the full fee of $185 to attend. (Their $75 non-refundable deposit is due by October 18th.)  A signup sheet with more information is on the Youth bulletin board.
