Easter Egg Hunt at Stearns Park Saturday, April 16 – 11:00 am The Columbus Fire Department and area churches will host an Easter Egg Hunt. In addition to the egg hunt, there will be games. Food will be available for purchase to help raise money for the fire department. We hope to share the Gospel through the Easter story to reach families within our community. Our youth group will be participating in Tryon’s Super Saturday!  This is a huge fundraiser for us. We will sell Chick-Fil-A Sandwiches, Nuggets and Icees. We need Youth & Parents to volunteer to help!  We will start at 7:00 am and return to the church around 4:00 pm. Children’s Ministry Event Drive-In Movie Night (Parent Date Night) March 11th at 6:00 pm  –  All Children – 5th grade Parents enjoy a date night on us!  There will be two different age-appropriate movies to choose from and the kids will watch from “Box Cars”! Communion – Sunday Evening, January 30th – 6:00 pm    

We will have a Meet & Greet with Randall & Felicia on Friday, January 21st at 6:00 pm in the Family Life Center. Everyone is asked to bring finger foods and desserts to share. Randall will preach on Sunday, January 23rd, during the morning worship service. After the service, we will have a special called meeting and vote by secret ballot.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, 12 step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain or addiction of any kind. Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to find community and freedom from the issues that are controlling our life. Guatemala Mission Sharing Sunday, December 12th 6:00 pm We’re excited to share the experiences from the Guatemala mission trip to show what God is doing in this area of South America. Guatemalan native missionaries (Wendy & Juanpa Rodas) that coordinated all the housing, transportation, and work we did while in the country will also be with us to give their perspective.  Pastor Ismael Velasquez (Guatemalan) and some members from his church will join us that evening as well.  

Trail Life Troop: NC-0659  meets weekly on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm Trail Life USA partners with churches and parents across America as the premier national character development organization for young men which produces the next generation of godly and responsible husbands, fathers, and citizens. In over 750 churches in nearly 50 states, fathers and sons are connecting, relationships are deepening, and legacies are beginning as a new generation of godly leaders rises up.

Baptist Children’s Homes of NC Annual Offering Week of Prayer November 14 – 21 Midway’s giving goal this year is $7,200 representing the 720 professions of faith made by BCH children over the past 5 years!  We will receive the offering on Sunday,   November 28. Please prayerfully consider your gift for this wonderful ministry. Remember to write BCH on the memo line of your check and/or on the envelope. BCH Annual Offering Clip    

Operation Christmas Child is a church-wide project that provides the opportunity for children around the world to experience the love of Jesus! Everyone can get involved by praying over the boxes, purchasing items for the boxes, or donating money for supplies to fill the boxes or for shipping. Sunday, November 21st is the collection day here at Midway. The last day to take your boxes to the PBA office is Monday, November 22nd. More information & OCC boxes are available…

This is an orientation class that Pastor Peter leads for prospective members that desire more information about our church and for those that recently joined and have not taken the class. The class will meet in the sanctuary Sunday, October 10th at 9:45 am. Please see Pastor Peter about church membership, attending the new members class, or being baptized!
