Men’s Ministry Motorcycle Ride & Fellowship  

Men’s Ministry Motorcycle Ride & Fellowship   Saturday, October 5th, leave from Midway at 10:00 am.  We will ride to Black Mountain following Hwy. 9, have lunch/fellowship time at Phil’s BBQ, then return.  Motorcycle riders, convertible drivers, and anyone else who wants to follow along for a nice scenic ride are welcome. NC Missions Offering Week of Prayer September 8th – 15th This year our NCMO offering goal is $10,000. We will receive the offering through September 22nd. Celebrate Recovery – Sabatical

The Celebrate Recovery Team is taking a sabbatical to rest and regroup. They plan to return to ministry this summer.  However,  if anyone is in need of help during this time, you may contact Karen Silvers or the church office. Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, 12 step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain or addiction of any kind.

Pre-Made Dinners Friday, May 3rd  – Meal Pickup at 6 pm – FLC Suggested donation is $7 per plate for Spaghetti, Salad, Bread, & Brownie. Meal delivery is available for a $5.00 fee. Additional donations are also appreciated.

Food Roundup- Baptist Children’s Homes of NC

Baptist Children’s Homes of NC Food Roundup April is the Annual Food Roundup for the Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina. Being part of the Food Roundup is about helping provide physical nourishment for children as well as shining the light of Jesus.  Midway’s goal of $7,000 represents the overall BCH goal of raising funding for 700,000 meals. Baptist On Mission – Disaster Relief Regional Training Event

  Disaster Relief Basic Basic Training Florence Baptist Church  – Forest City – Saturday, April 20th – 8:30 am – 4:00 pm Who may participate: Anyone 18+ for all ministries. Exception: To participate in Disaster Recovery and Feeding training, youth must be In the 6th grade or older. A parent must attend the same class at training. Lunch on Saturday is provided. Annie Armstrong Easter Offering

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering Our goal is $8,700.  This represents $3 for each of the 2900 missionary families serving North America.  We will be tracking this goal with small wooden crosses filling a vase.  We encourage giving throughout the month of March.
